Vino, I Trulli and Centovini ask you to help us raise funds for World Water Week
What is the Tap Project?
Launched in New York City in 2007, the Tap Project raises vital donations and awareness for UNICEF’s water and sanitation programs.
How does it work?
The Tap Project is based on a simple concept: restaurants ask patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free, and all funds raised go to support UNICEF’s efforts to bring clean and accessible water to millions of children around the world. For every dollar raised by the Tap Project, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days.
Where can I donate my dollar?
I Trulli and Centovini are among some 2,300 restaurants throughout the country participating in this year’s Tap Project. In anticipation of this exciting event, Vino will be hosting a special Tap Project tasting this afternoon!
When does the Tap Project start?
The Tap Project runs during World Water Week, March 22-28, 2009.
