Centovini, Nicola Marzovilla’s SoHo restaurant, is proud to announce its nomination in the category for Outstanding Restaurant Design at the 2008 James Beard Foundation Awards. Since 1990, the awards have recognized the finest and freshest talent within the food and beverage industry. Centovini’s design partners Murray Moss and Giuliano Fiorenzoli will be hoping to repeat the success of last year’s Travel + Leisure award for Best New Restaurant Design.

Fosarin 2006 Ronco dei Tassi


In honor of Gambero Rosso’s annual Tre Bicchieri tasting in New York yesterday, we’re featuring Fosarin 2006 Ronco dei Tassi, which won the highest rating of three glasses in Italian Wines 2008.

This is the third time that this Friuli producer (one of our favorites!) has received this honor for their Fosarin — in 2006 it was even named “White Wine of the Year” — and it won’t be the last, we’re willing to bet.
