I Trulli in The New York Times

I Trulli received two stars from The New York Times in yesterday’s City section in an article about “good eating” in the “the east twenties” entitled “Where East Is Also West.” “This is the best New York restaurant dedicated to the cooking of Apulia,” wrote reviewer Kris Ensiminger. “It serves unusual food — like grilled baby octopus with fennel and orange salad — in an understated room and a dreamy Mediterranean garden. The stars of the menu are the five pastas made by hand.”

When I Trulli opened in 1994, we were the only restaurant of our kind in neighborhood. Today, we are proud to be part of vibrant restaurant scene that has blossomed over the last few years.
