Vino’s wine classes return September 17

Learn everything you always wanted to know about Italian wine (but were afraid to ask) at Vino this Fall.
September is upon us once more, and while the thought of returning to school fills most kids (and adults) with dread, at Vino we can’t wait to get back in the classroom! Vino is offering more wine and food classes than ever before this autumn, each focusing on a fascinating aspect of Italian wine and wine-making culture.
Our 2008 Fall classes begin on September 17 with the ever-popular Italian Wine 101. Hosted by Vino’s William Leonard-Lee, the class is an introduction to some of Italy’s greatest grape varieties and wines. William will review the process of wine-making from grape to bottle and give pointers on storing, serving and ordering wine. Italian Wine 101 is the perfect class for casual enthusiasts to broaden their knowledge of Italian wine, and for more seasoned experts to further delve into Italy’s complex and endlessly fascinating viticultural mosaic.

Italian Wine 101 participants will taste six wines, plus a light selection of Italian meats and cheeses.
The Fall Class Schedule, which this season also includes fun pasta-making classes hosted by Dora Marzovilla at neighboring I Trulli, is available now in-store at Vino, and on our website.
