Sardegna Cannonau Tasting at Vino
This week’s free tasting at Vino features two Cannonau wines from Sardinia. This grape variety is closely related to the grenache grape found in southern France and the Spanish garnacha, a fact which can probably be traced back to the island’s invasion and subsequent Aragón rule. Today, the cannonau is the most common variety found throughout Sardinia. This Friday, you can sample two of the island’s finest:
